My passion is portrait photography. I have a creative background, have been an artist and magazine editor and producer. I became interested in belly dance in 2008 which opened up new inspiration for my portraits. I enjoy the challenge of dance photography. I began taking portrait photographs of friends and family in 2005 when I bought my first camera.
	It was like seeing the world through new eyes. I took macro photos of flowers and insects, but it was people I loved to photograph. I have a small studio at my home where I can create backdrops for portraits with beautiful fabrics, including velvet, tulle, taffetta, lace, and I like to use fresh flowers, paper and silk flowers and various props.
I have fairy and ballet costumes for children's portraits. Traditional portraits or something a little more imaginative, the choice is yours. I can do everyday or evening make-up or more dramatic fantasy make-up for your photo shoot if required - I use MAC professional make-up. I have a CRB enhanced certificate for children's portraits.
