I've retrieved this board from archive as part of my current attempt to clear the back burners.

I have completed the aircraft list as far as possible (there are a few shapes missing but I have used the next best thing). I have made aircraft selection and hangar screens. I am currently engaged on editing the tile and elevation maps with the new tools available, and hope to have a public beta before too long.

Hi Peter.

What aircraft do you have for this? I guess Japanese planes are a bit thin on the ground, because most of the action took place with pre Zero planes. I do have an HR Zero, and a Claude, but both need loads of work to finish them off.

I don't really have the mental strength, or the time to get into anything very difficult. This depression stuff I suffer from really messes me up. One minute I'm OK and the next I'm so nervous, I could smash up my computer.

I know, keep taking the tablets. Crying or Very sad

I'll get a list up when I get home.

I actually have your HR Claude, and I think it looks bloody good as it stands.

Moggy,

don't forget Jan Tuma's Nomonhan incident' set up... he has a few early japanese biplanes in there that may fit an early sino-japanese scenario

cheers,

Pobs

* Mit. Ki.1 type93 sub Bloch MB.200

With the fullness of time and the good work of our Czech brothers most of these planes have been forthcomming, or some very close substitute shapes.

The only real missing aircraft are the Ki1, G3M Nell (though I think JT is working on one of these). Close substitutes have gone in for the Gamma, Ca101, and Ki15 and 30.

One query that I do have is whether the aircraft of the Russian "Volounteer" Units bore Russian or Chinese markings. I've seen evidence for both, so perhaps some did and some didn't. Certainly the SB2s which bombed Japanese occupied Taiwan had Chinese markings, but the fighters seem to have retained their red stars.

Pobs - yes I have raided Jan Tuma's stores. Where would we be in these early war setups without his stuff!!

Col - deep solidarity. Been there mate. As usual, anything you might feel moved to help with gratefully recieved. As I said above, I have your HR Claude which is currently one of the jewels of this scenario. From my recent flights with it I's say there was only a couple of very small RS glitches to clear up, not really noticeable unless you were looking for them.

If you wanted a real challenge, how about the Ki-1 Smile Smile

I'm out of EAW work at the moment because I have other stuff occupying my time, but I hope to return to these theatres in due course and release something worth having.
