a TMOD without "political correctness"

Post by Shreck »

I say this, because I dont want to post the only pic I have online of this TMOD at Frugals or SimHQ...
however,that being said....

this mod has US,Britain,Japan,France,Russia,and...nazi Germany flag skins on the same pcx....(same with the DM)
maybe I'll get a screenshot of the "union jack" or something and post it "over there"

Yes, Shreckster. May some good strike you well.

We all know flying is a metaphor for freedom. But everyone needs an airbase they can depend on.

As the poet said in "The Hired Hand":

Home is the place
That when you have to go there
They have to let you in

well,I am hopefull this is temporary "in my life"
and its something rather new too
one doesnt work their entire life, raise kids, pay mortgages, bills, etc.
and then take "homelessness" as "just a phase"
sleeping in a car during a severe thunderstorm last night wasnt too bad....probably the best sleep I have had in months!
and,to quote a Kris Kristoferson/Janis Joplin tune...
Freedoms just another word for nuthin left to lose.

Shreck---
I also spent time homeless and jobless in the '82 recession, living in a monster '67 Cadillac whose huge interior and trunk ("boot" to Moggy) held all my worldly goods. Mostly damp.
It was a free life, but a depressing one. Sometimes scary. Finding a safe place to sleep without being rousted by police or hit by opportunists.

Getting a job with a temporary employment agency was my ticket to survival. And eventually a way out to better work.
By sharing a place with another worker, we managed to live decently.

"Freedom is another word for nothing left to lose" is not quite true.
It has its compensations. But homelessness does get old. Don't let it become a permanent solution.

Best to you.
