Errm how do I drive this thing??
Got EAW going guys. It,s amazing how the brain doesn,t work when your crook with the flu.Anyway was testing today and flying the Ju87 and came up to the bombing stage..Now how do you deploy the air brakes???Extend UC,Flaps or some other control I havent heard about. With all the new planes I would think unless you have a good set of answers for the guys asking them every day on how to fly the Ju88,B26 etc should we include them in the new Read Me.

Spitty,
As far as I know the only working dive flaps in EAW are on my A-36 and JU87.
It's a bodge.
The flight models have been modifed so that EAW sees the planes as twin engine models.
You start both engines on take off. After that you fly normally and will have the appropriate top speed,
When you reach the target, at about 10000 feet, you turn off the second engine.
You'll see the dive flaps deploy. ( On the A-36 you can see them from inside the cockpit but on the Ju87 you'd have to use the external view.)
Your speed will drop rapidly. When you get to about 150 MPH start the dive. The plane is very controllable and speed will increase but not alarmingly as in a power dive.
Drop the bomb at about 3000 feet, pull out and re-start engine 2. If you forget to re-start engine 2 you'll putter along at about 180 MPH, until you get shot down.
The only unusual side effects are that you'll hear the engine 2 start sound when retracting the brakes and if by chance your engine gets hit you have a spare to get home since EAW thinks you're flying a twin with one engine out.
This bodge is not included in the new exe but it is fully OAW compatible.
