I can't get 1.28 to run in 1280 x 1024.
I get a message telling me my video card can't cope.
This is on my old W98 system with the Matrox G400.
Runs all other versions of EAW at that resolution without complaint.
Anyone any ideas?
Graphical demands of 1.28

Hello,
Not sure about this one .. just a guess .. what DirectX version you use ?
Maybe it's some limitations coming from the D3D.dll .. or ...
Just a shoot in the dark
What the result in glide(with the glide wrapper) ?
Regards.
Gus.

A common mistake that people make when trying to make something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools...

DX8 on the old W98 machine.
Is it significant?

The only thing that worries me about that is whether the drivers for the Matrox G400 are okay with DX9

I found a post on the web that your card will NOT work with DX9
