"Ask not what you can do for your country, ask, what has your country been doing to you!"
Yep, all day now and far into the night. Just for grins and giggles I've made a few changes in the 204 Kokutai Zeke and P-39 I've painted for the Southwest Pacific.
Col. Gibbs, the P-39 has a very wonky 3dz model. It has 3dz errors from point 150 to 223, and won't save changes in the model.
That HR P39 was made so long ago, I'm not surprised it has the odd error or two, but saying that, I'm sure the reason is the huge number of piggybacks, which are built into the model. I have a super HR model in the hanger, which I started just after Troy died, but the project never got finished because of all the RS problems the model had. It would be easy to fix now, but by current standards it looks like crap! The one good thing is, I have a full set of base art work for it from DeanH. He painted a full set of all the camos which the P39 carried.
Thanks for the info Col. There is only the need for a single skin so a major redo isn't high on the list right now. One day will be fine. I am suprised the plane renders and wonder how it was cobbled together. In 3dz Studio the airscrew and motor are growing out of the middle of the airframe. It must have more piggybacks than a primary school playday.
