Are you referring to WW1 or WW 2?

I ask because there's a ton of Italian and Russian models for WW 2 in the aircraft inventory. I'm not sure about the scenarios though as that wasn't something I was too involved with.

Couple of other things:

1 - I'm building a Siemens-Schukert D I and D IV to add to the mix. Pretty easy since the D I was a copy of the Nieuport 17 and the D IV has a remarkable resemblance to the Russian I-5, which is in the WW 2 inventory.

The D I wasn't anything special, basically the same as the Nieuport 17, but the D IV had some truly impressive performance figures.

2 - I also got around to evaluating AngelOff's WW 1 engine sounds and found some very good ones, so I'm incorporating them into the new setup.

It would be more from the First World War,
Yes the Siemens-Schukert D-I was like a rapid response to counterattack the French in aerial combat.

A WW 1 Italian or Russian front scenario would require A LOT of work. We still don't have a fully functional Western Front so I doubt we'll see either of those.

It's an idea
I already have a map which includes Italy, the Balkans, and the Ukranian part of the Russian front. We've been working on the planes for some time.

Suppose the same map could be used for a WW 1 scenario.

It's a start but man, there would be a lot of work to do to get a compete setup.

Rotton is right, there's a lot of work to be done, and another thing, the map shown is quite inaccurate.

This would be the Italian-Austro-Hungarian front during the Great War:

The map as shown isn't a WW1 map, its for 2WW use. I put it up to show the area covered by the geophysical tiling map underlying. The geography is much the same for 1WW or 2WW use. All else is down to target layouts, frontline files, and map screen artwork.

Accordingly most of the front line you show on the map displayed could be set up on the landscape map we already have.
